REVIEW: ANTHONY GLYCOLIC FACIAL CLEANSER

So I recently received a sample of the Glycolic Facial Cleanser by Anthony, and as soon as I saw it I was eager to try it out.  Glycolic acid is an Alpha Hydroxy acid which is extracted from plants such as sugar canes, pineapples and sugar beets.  Glycolic acid provides chemical exfoliation to dissolve the outer dead layer of our skin.

The cleanser is white with a thin creamy consistency and a mild sweet smell.  After the first use I noticed a huge difference in the overall appearance of my skin.  My skin was immediately brighter and smoother and did not feel overly dry or tight.  My pores looked cleaner and smaller as well.  This cleanser is gentle and would work well for people with dry, oily and acne prone skin.

I use this cleanser every other day because I find my skin can get a break from exfoliating during the days in between.  I also found that my moisturizer absorbs so much better after using this cleanser.  The same will go for any serums you may already use.  Overall I love this product and will continue to keep it as a staple in my skincare routine.  You can purchase this cleanser HERE on Amazon.

  1. Hey! Was it drying? I like when my oily skin feels completely dry after cleansing! I really don't like the ones that make your skin look glossy and shiny.

    1. Hi there!

I wouldn't say this is drying. I have dry skin and I hate that dry/tight feeling some drugstore cleansers give you. This cleanser didnt do that, but it also did not leave any oily residue. It left the skin clean and smooth not shiny at all!
